Chongqing Education Commission University Management Training Group Achieved Fruitful Results 重庆教委高

On August 2, 2011, a group of 24 members from Chongqing Education Commission arrived in San Francisco for a three week training program. The training courses were jointly designed and arranged by professors and experts from San Jose State University and the USCEC. The group first conducted an intensive training at the university, and learned the systems and advanced experience in the administration, financial management, and personnel management of American universities. The Executive Vice President of SJSU, Dr. Mark Novak, and other senior school administrators personally gave lectures to the delegates, and carried out active exchanges and discussions with the group. Then the group visited various top universities in Los Angeles and Washington D.C., during meeting with the university presidents and higher education experts, the group had a deeper understanding of American universities management.

2011年8月，在重庆市委组织部副部长李明清的带领下，重庆教委高等教育管理培训团的49名成员分为两组在美国进行了为期三周的培训。

8月2日，培训团第一组24名成员抵达旧金山。当晚，美中交流协会为培训团举办了隆重的欢迎晚宴。这次培训课程由美中交流协会和加州圣何塞州立大学的培训专家联合为重庆教委设计并安排。培训团首先在圣何塞大学进行了一周的密集型课堂培训，学习了美国高校行政管理、财政管理、人事管理等方面的制度和先进经验。圣何塞大学常务副校长马克诺华博士等校方高级管理人员亲自为学员授课，并和团队开展了积极的交流和讨论。

第一阶段的课堂培训后，美中交流协会为培训团安排了丰富的实地培训活动，访问了包括高教管理机构、著名公立大学和私立大学等多家单位。在加州，两组培训团分别访问了美国西部高教审核委员会、伯克利加州大学、加州理工大学、圣地亚哥大学等单位。在华盛顿，培训团访问了美国高等教育协会、美国联邦教育部等联邦高教管理机构。培训团在和大学校长和高教专家的会谈中，对美国高校管理有了更深刻的理解和认识。

培训团的成员有来自长江师范学院、四川外国语学院、重庆大学、西南大学等十多所高校的骨干领导，他们在培训学习的同时，积极和参访的大学建立联系，计划和美国的高校开展更多的交流和合作。
