Leaders of Chongqing Colleges and Universities Study International Leadership for Higher Education i

On November 19, 2012, the President of San Jose State University, Dr. Qayoumi, and the Executive Vice President, Dr. Mark Novak, welcomed 21 university leaders from Chongqing to study at San Jose State University. The training program was jointly organized by the Chongqing Municipal Education Commission, San Jose State University and the USCEC. The delegates came from the Chongqing Education Commission and more than ten universities. The group learned various aspects of American higher education leadership, including teaching quality evaluation system, teacher management, campus construction and other aspects. This training program effectively promotes the further development of Chongqing higher education.

2012年11月19日，圣何塞加州州立大学校长克由密博士、常务副校长马克诺华博士在位于加州硅谷的校园盛情欢迎来自重庆市的21名教委及高校领导来美培训学习。

此次培训由重庆市教委、圣何塞加州州立大学及美中交流协会联合举办，培训团的成员来自重庆教委及十多所高校。圣何塞加州州立大学的领导及教授团队为培训团讲授了美国高等教育领导能力建设的各个方面，包括教学质量评估体系、教师的管理、校园建设等方面。

此外，培训团还在伯克利加州大学、德瑞大学、圣地亚哥大学等高校学习了他们先进的管理经验。在伯克利加州大学，培训团学习了世界一流大学如何为学生提供就业指导和服务。在德瑞大学和圣地亚哥大学，培训团学习了美国私立大学先进的、人性化的管理方式。在美国联邦教育部，培训团学习了美国政府如何管理高等教育及美国高等教育的发展方向。此次培训即覆盖了高等教育领导能力建设的各个方面，又为重庆市的高校领导们提供了深入研究美国高等教育管理的机会，有效促进了重庆市高等教育的进一步发展。
